Built second workable FlexiGyn device and held the first specialist usability trial. Early prototypes prioritised mobility, visibility and clinician control.

Iteration & Optimisation
$25k innovation grant supports specialist trial feedback loop that redefined the design requirements, including optimised display and refined ergonomics.
2022
Patents & Proof
Advanced camera improvements and conduct 2nd comparative trial testing the device against the gold standard. Patents granted in the US and South Africa.
2023
Commercial Feasibility
$65k pre-seed enable third-party feasibility study, validates product–market fit, revenue logic and confirmed FDA 510(k) regulatory pathway.
2024
Pilot Launch Clearance
Commercial and governance requirements consolidated into operating model, supporting pilot programme planning at the Mediclinic Innovation Hub.
2025
Pilot Funded, EU Patent Secured
$300k raised to fund market-ready FlexiGyn and its pilot ahead of FDA submission. EU patent granted and final design iterations begin.
